About the Course
The Fiqh of Worship course is designed for Muslims seeking a clear, structured and practical understanding of the rulings of Islamic worship. Whether you are beginning your journey in fiqh or looking to strengthen and refresh your existing knowledge, this course provides a reliable foundation in the essential areas of daily practice. Covering purification, salah, janazah, fasting, zakat, and hajj & umrah, the course is based on Nur al-Idah, a classical and widely taught text studied in Islamic institutes around the world. The content is presented in a step-by-step manner, making it easy to follow while maintaining depth and authenticity. Lessons are delivered online via Zoom, allowing students to attend from anywhere while benefiting from a structured and interactive learning environment. You will study under Mufti Faizal Riza (Darul Ifta Australia), who brings over 24 years of experience in teaching Islamic sciences and issuing fiqh guidance (fatwas). Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly, helping them gain clarity on specific issues and deepen their understanding. The lessons aim to go beyond theory, focusing on practical application, clarifying common misunderstandings, and helping you confidently implement the rulings in your daily life. By the end of the course, you will have a stronger grasp of the core acts of worship and the confidence to practise your deen with clarity, correctness and conviction. Mufti Faizal Riza
With over 24 years of experience teaching fiqh and other Islamic sciences, Mufti Faizal Riza is a respected specialist in fiqh and fatwa (takhassus fil fiqh wal ifta). He has studied in prestigious Islamic institutions in the subcontinent and South Africa under renowned scholars, gaining a strong and authentic grounding in the tradition. For more than 14 years, he has been answering fiqh questions from the public through his online platform, Darul Ifta Australia (www.fatwa.org.au ), addressing a wide range of real-life issues faced by Muslims. He has also trained and supervised students specialising in Fiqh and the issuing of fatwas, contributing to the development of future scholars in this field. With extensive experience in both teaching and issuing rulings, Mufti Faizal Riza is known for making complex aspects of Islamic law clear, practical and relevant, helping Muslims confidently understand and apply Islamic rulings in their daily lives.
